      Well I agree that face recognition is less than perfect- but I think it's still a useful 'first-alert' tool for quick screening large groups of people. Photos of bad people have been used by police and security agencies for decades- and many a bad guy has been caught by a sharp-eyed cop who happen to recognize a face he'd seen on a wanted bulletin.
