Huh. I voted for Obama, but Hillary won California comfortably. I find Barack lacking in substance, but much less creepy than Senator Clinton.
I wanted to vote for Dr. Paul, but I'm one of at least several Republicans who went Independent because they're disgusted by the party of Wilson and Bush and Schwarzenegger. There were rumors that the Republican Party closed the primary to prevent independents from selecting interesting candidates like Paul and Huckabee, and McCain won handily.
So, it was either choose between Hillary and Obama, or choose from among the identical close-the-borders deport-illegal-immigrants Constitution Party candidates. I generally trust the Constitution Party or the Libertarian Party to select candidates whom I can vote for during the general election. As if California's Electoral College votes won't go to a Democrat, anyway, even if McCain wins. |
