Just want to thank everyone for the warm welcome. Wow Nat, so much controversy........ I showed the forum to the wifey and she'll think about getting on "maybe". I've asked about short trips before and her response is usually something like..."I need to get dressed first" or "not today". I'm not sure if it's confidence or just a deep rooted sense of modesty. As far as questions go, she told me that she does'nt have any "yet". It was mentioned that a small lifting did happen. Is this true with all women? If so, how much should be expected and, would it be enough that it could help build more confidence I think that's really the big issue. Years ago it never seemed to matter as much.
Greg, I don't know if 'lift' is the right word. I think there is a bit of firming that happens when when goes without a bra for awhile, but not sure how much and in what way it might be noticed for someone with a larger bust. I am not large and so don't really remember much change because I was always a partime bra wearer before I got rid of them entirely. I honestly don't recall a change for me, but someone who wears bras everyday might see a difference.
Glad to be of assistance Greg, and hope you and your wife will continue to visit BFF. We are like a family here, lending moral support to each other, and not just about breast freedom, but of many of life's predicaments. And sometimes we even get a bit silly but in today's world we surely need a bit of levity.
As to your wife, it takes time to adjust to following a different road, but each step, even small ones, is progress. Once your wife has been out in public a few times she will realize that most people don't notice and don't care what other people wear under their clothes, nor should they.
I've been without a bra the majority of the time this year (unemployed for some months) and I have noticed that my large breasts have firmed up quite a bit. In addition, my fibrocystic lumps have disappeared. I'm still adjusting to not wearing a bra at work and still do sometimes depending upon what I'm wearing. I think a few have noticed that I'm only wearing a camisole (with 5-10% spandex) and I have had no comments whatsoever. In fact, today I noticed one of the younger gals who seemed to only be wearing a camisole too. There are a few others who might follow suit if they notice there are some others not wearing. Give your wife lots of encouragement and support.
I would not rely too much on this Greg in case the two of you are disappointed. Just think that continuing with a bra will push them down further. There are many benefits to bra freedom other than lift, but who knows? - go for it - the more people who do, the easier it gets for the rest.
