I recently bought a 99 millenia that i absolutely love. It is my first car. I spent alot of time and money adding engine, video and audio features. My question is this(and this may sound stupid but i gatta ask anyway). I'm quite fond of the new body style of the 2001 and up millenias. Is it possible for me to just upgrade the the front section of my car to that of the new models instead of having to buy a new car and having to go throught the trouble of adding all those features again.
I guess I'm just asking that if I bought the parts could they be made to fit my car???
Essentially the front is the only thing that was changed in the new millenias.

I added a 1000 watt amplifier, 6 disk cd/dvd changer and 3 lcd monitors (one in each of the front seat headrests and the other is an in dash monitor and upgraded the engine from a plain old dohc v6 to a supercharged dohc that produces 210 hp as found in the millenia S - so i dont want to have to invest all that money again just to get a new look on my car.

The 2001 and up Millenia's had some other changes made other than the front and rear end changes. The instrument cluster is different, structural changes were made to make it more rigid, side impact air bags, sound system, etc. Not too sure how much would be required to change the front end though, maybe a body shop would know better. Alot of people, including myself, don't like the newer front end since they feel it lost the luxury look and tried to have a more sporty look and to match the other Mazda's front end style. If you really like the newer look, you might want to just buy a newer one and install your stereo stuff in it.

Hey thanks for your advice. In terms of the changes u mentioned, I already knew about the instrument cluster and strustural uprgades etc. When I referred to the changes that were made in the car, I was talking about exterior cosmetic changes. I guess i should have made myself clear on that one. But like u said, I should check at a body shop to get a more professional opinion. I just thought I'd ask here first because who knows, maybe there could have been a few people here that could have told me exactly what i wanted to know. As for the sportier look - personally I love the look. In my opinion it makes the car look more aggressive, like its ready to just attack the road. But then that is just my opinion.
But I guess when it all comes down to it, it really doesn't matter what the car looks like because it still beats the heart of a Mazda and that makes it a great car!!!!
I guess I'll update when I get a quote or actually get the job done if possible.
