my little truck is making a noise which appers to coming from the bell housing. I am mechanically inclined but transmissions are my weak spots. othe than the noise it shifts fine and the clutch engage normally? any help would be appriciated.

Noisy throw out bearing? Thats what my problem was. It chattered almost sounding like a chain rattling around.

can a noisy throw out bearing happen in just one gear?...my truck has been making a strange noise when under power in 4th gear. when I air the truck all the way up it seems to decrease but still there!
truck equiped with full airide suspension.

You may want to see about having the driveshaft shortened if it's a one-piece. Sounds like the damage to the tranny has already been done though.
