Does anyone know how to program the remote for a '97 Millenia without me having to take it to the dealer. I understand it involves a rather simple few steps but apparently they are closely held secrets.

Thanks, Greg

To program a new remote here is what you do. its really easy.
You have to locate a little black rubber button (the size of a nickle) on the bottom of the door jam on the driver's side.

1. turn the car on and off three consecutive times. each time taking the key all the way out.

2. push the nickle sized button three times.

3. You need to cycle the ignition and push the button within twenty seconds. Once the car is in the program mode, you need to push any button on each transmitter to "program" it to the car. You should be able to program up to four transmitters per car. Make sure you have all the transmitters handy as you have to reprogram alll the transmitters at the same time or only the ones you reprogram will work and all others will not work anymore.
