rev limter on b2200

I have an 89 mazda b2200 lowerd on three inch pep boys blocks in rear and on bump stops up front. I got 16 inch pathfinder rims. I got an custom exaust and a friend had a similar truck. He swears up and down they have rev limters. I have no tack. Do they and if not what is to high???

I own a 91 Caruburated B2200 it does not have a rev limiter on it, as for fuel injected I don't know. I've heard redline ranging from 5500-6400 rpm. I would keep it below 6000.

The truck doesnt have a rev limiter as you probably think about it. I do belive its got a minor fuel cut off above 6000 rpm to make sure that you cant rev it out too far. I have mine built, ( u name it ) and I dont realy see much improvement after reving mine past 6 grand, after that, its just not beneficial to the engine, I've hit 7 before.. but it didnt make it any faster. shifting and using the torque is better.

what up thanks for the responses i decided to muster it up and buy a tach at pep boys 50 dollars not bad. Now just need help on how to install????

I bought a tach/speedo for a b2200 from a junk yard for $50.00 it pluged right in and works great. Watch the speedo cable routing because the speedo is no longer in the middle.
