My '94 Mazda626 sometimes the "hold"light flashing. At that time the low shifting of transmission is harder. and after a few weeks the "hold" light disappears, the shifting is better as good. Running and high speed is good. I don' tht reason. Nowadays it appears again. it's really a headach problem. How could I do with that. how much I have to pay if I have it repaired.

I had this problem with my 88 929, went to the dealer and they plugged in a tester for the transmission, found the problem in 5 minutes (mine was a bad speed sensor - it could have been 6 other sources) Ask your dealer if they would test and give you the codes. You can then decide if you can repair it yourself. It took me 20 minutes to replace my 'turbo sensor', but this is a different transmission. Good luck.
