Can someone explain to me what a transmission cooler is? Is it something you put in the oil or you atach to the tranny. I am going to get one for my 626 because I know how the madza auto trannies are. Any help would be greatly appreaciated.

A transmission cooler is just like an oil cooler, it is a small radiator looking thing that you hook and inlet and outlet line up to to run fluid through. All it does is run the transmission fluid through an auxilary radiator to keep the fluid cooler because heat is one of the biggest things that destroys and automatic.
