My 89 Mazada 929 has had a problem with its TPS Sensor and the computer, it has steadily been killing the battery, when my brother tried to change the battery he put the terminals on wrong and this resulted in sparks shooting everywhere, well now the car will not start, no lights will come on in the dash or anything. We are waiting for a new computer and TPS sensor to arrive. Just wondering if anyone knows if anything else could be the problem. She would run and you could drive her until my brother did that. Any solutions would greatly be appreciated.

Did you check the main fuse in the box under the hood, left side as you face the engine?
