Hey, what all do I need to upgrade my 1.8L DOHC 94 protege engine to a turbo engine, instead of buying a BP turbo from japan... I know i need a turbo and a new exhaust manifold, but what other parts am i gonna need.

you will probably need a different ecu if you have a mass air flow sensor, or some kind of newfy wiring to control the boost on the turbo.
you should just buy a complete motor and ecu/wiring from japan, they j-spec motors have more power from different compression and intake etc.
