been at the mazda usa site and it mentions all the 2003 models and millenia and 626 are not on the lineup except this new model called the mazda 6. looks really peppy and would love to own one in the future just the only problem is I already have a 2001 protege. would love to hear opinions on the mazda 6. love the look of the car.

I love the Mazda6! I'm pretty sure it's replacing only the 6, not sure about the Mil. As far as the car goes, look at the numbers. In the Mazda6 S it has over 200 hp, 197lbs tq and a curb weight of around 3200 lbs. Far better than the old one. I'm thinking about trading in this

for it when it comes out. Sure, it isn't as peppy as the new Accord (4 door, I love the Accord 2 door) but it looks so much better. Plus, my wife won't let me get a WRX

I spoke with our Mazda dealer and was told the 6 is replacing the 626 and the Millenia. Overall size-wise, It's going to be smaller than the Millenia but larger than the 626.

yeah, i worked for a mazda dealer for a while selling. the 6 will replace the 626, although we weren't told at the time that it was replacing the millenia as well. the 6 is supposed to be a pretty nice car, a little more fun to drive than the 626.

another thing to consider is the mazdaspeed protege new for '03. pretty sweet car, turbo'd protege. but you have to go to a mazdaspeed certified dealer (which we were not). i think there might even be a rally version slated for that car... but that's just rumor and speculation. could be, if it becomes popular enough tho
