I disconected the speedometer cable accidentaly from my Mazda Protege, and, when I conected it again, Cruise control was down and the ligh "Hold" in front panel is still flashing. Knows anybody what to do in this case? Frank

i have the same problem,it started when i add some prolong aditive to my automatic transmition the hold light on the dash started to blink and the next week the speedo cable broke. i dont know how caused this problem the aditive or because the cable is broken?, as you have the same problem
