| Is there much I can do to the 1.6L motor to beef up the power output? I've looked into getting a K&N filter, and seeing if its possible to go wider exhaust pipes instead of the 1 1/2" inch setup. Can you go 2" exhaust all the way? I know these cars use a double pipe system to keep exhaust temps higher. Installing a Borla muffler is being considered. What else can be done? Is there anyway to get better parts for the motor itself? I know there's a DOHC cylinder head for these years, but I don't know if you could just swap it on. Cams? Pistons? Anyone?
I've already got 15 inch tires for the car. I've considered swapping in poly urethane bushings for the sway bars as well. What is the exhaust like on the GT 323s? Is it any bigger?
Or is there a better motor I can swap in to what I have now? |
