I just got and old school Mazda 323 and have planned out a few Mods on it. There are 2 main options, dropping a rotary in it or working the standard 1300 motor. Whats my best and cheapest bet and also what is a good way to modify the body

Hi, you can do a engine swap, with a 1600 cc Turbo. This 1.6L turbo engine is fast. I have a 1988 Mazda 323 AWD TURBO GTX & a 1986 Mazda GT with a 1.6L turbo engine.
