I need to reset the codes on my mileenia. The dealer wants to charge me a fortune. I know how to re-program it, but not re-set so I can re-program to my new remotes.
Thanx much in advance!
Also I need a site that would sell 1 center cap for original hubcaps.

I just bought a new keyless entry remote off Ebay and it has the same numbers on the back as my old remote but I do not know how to programmit to work or what I have to do to get it to work. If you could respond and head me into the right direction, it would be great.
Thx,
Brad

Steven has been trying to program his keyless remote for many weeks now, without success. His problem is deeper than first suspected. You don't say what year your Millenia is but if you already have a remote that works and the new one has the same numbers on the back then you are half way home. Did you ask the seller on eBay for programming instructions? They usually provide those but anyway .... The programming is a little weird at first reading but if followed carefully you should have success. Just remember also that the original remote that now works will no longer work after successfully programming the eBay remote. You have to re program BOTH remotes at the same sitting, one after the other. Programming the second (or third or forth) must be done within a short time of each other. You can have up to four remotes all for the same vehicle. Make sure the battery in the eBay remote is at full voltage.
1. Open driver's door and lock ALL four doors with the master LOCK button on driver's door.
2. Unlock ONLY the driver's door by pushing up the other lock button at the left of the inside door handle so it shows the red portion. The other 3 doors must remain locked.
3. Put the ignition key in the ignition and turn to ON but do not start car. Turn key to OFF.
4. Remove key COMPLETELY out of ignition.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 TWO more times for a total of THREE "in and outs".
6. Open and close the driver's door THREE times, so that the interior lights flash on and off each time OR push the rubber covered light button on the rear of driver's door jam three times.
7. After a few seconds, maybe less, you should hear the chime (same chime that indicates lights are on or key is in ignition with driver's door open or seat belt is undone).
8. Push the LOCK button on the first remote TWICE with little time between pushes.
9. Wait for chime again, maybe several chimes in a row. (I think I got two or three "dings").
10. After this set of chimes, push the LOCK button TWICE on the second remote to be programmed. You should get another chime or series of chimes.
11. After this final chime(s), test each remote to confirm that both work.
This is the standard programming series but you will find modifications from other sources such as "push any button on remote" or "turn key to ACC".
This is the programming that worked like a charm first time for me on a 2000 Millenia S.
Notice that you do not need to go thru the whole program to re program the second remote. You just need to push the second remote's LOCK button twice. This "second" remote will likely be your original remote that no longer works without re programming at the same time as the new one. Confused? Sorry.
AND LET US KNOW IF YOU ARE SUCCESSFUL OR NOT.

Did you ask your local dealer to do it ? And how much did they want to charge you ? I heard that most of them do it for free(a one minute job on the drie way)
