I have a 2000 Protege and after a 9 hour drive through hot Kansas and Oklahoma weather (no rain), the rear passenger floor was flooded. Most of the water is in a body channel under the front passenge seat. I can only assume that it was condensation from the AC that is not draining outside the car. Any idea what I need to do to to fix this?

The evaporator case (under the dash, passenger side) should have a rubber drain hose that should pass through a hole in the firewall, then to outside of car. Obviously, this should be in place, and make sure outlet end is draining to the ground, directly. If this hose is plugged up, remove it and clean with a wire or straightened hanger. If the clog is actually in the evaporator drain nipple (where the hose connects, and I just wanted to say "nipple") be careful, and use the wire to dislodge clog dirt.
