I have a 1992 MX-6 - 117,000 miles - NO turbo - and a few days ago the "check engine" light started coming on whenever I put the brakes on. The light goes off when I start accelerating, but always comes on again as soon as I brake. Only thing that has changed is I moved to a new residence and am parking on a sloped driveway so started putting my parking brake on - never did before. Have no idea if there is a connection - I'm a very mechanically challenged female and do not trust mechanics or dealers! Thank you for any help you can provide. Donna
