I am tired of reading messages wehre people come on and say I need help...(blah blah blah) e-mail me.


I think people forget that the point of the community is so we can help each other. By posting a problem and asking for an e-mail clearly shows that you can't be bothered to check this baord, hence you can't be bothered to help anyone else out.

If I'm wrong let me know.

I have emailed pages from my shop manuals to several people, who never seem to post an acknowledgement or thanks for the help, post the end result of their problem, take time to show that they have checked all possible sources of info and are now stuck (they usually expect free help over the life of the project as if they were doing ME a favor), or share their experiences by helping others.
As far as this forum is concerned, it lacks a search engine, so infrequent users are frustrated with trying to wade through the lousy message titles like 'help' and '626 problem'.

I completely agree. A search engine is definitely needed for this forum. It would help in many ways. Being a new member, it would have streamlined my inquiries.

I am more than willing to help people, however, I am a 2-day old Millenia owner.
