I just bought a 1992 929 today and as I was driving it home, it totally lost all power while driving on a slight incline. (This was on the drive home immediately after i bought the car.) The guy i bought it from replaced the engine not so long ago, but it wasnt registered, and therefore not driven for some time. He said that when the engine was replaced the computer read that a sensor (a valve type thingy?) was dirty or needed replacing. He said that this is probably the root of this problem (he gave us a replacement sensor/valve thingy). It did drive better after the hill incident but im paranoid it will happen again. any ideas? is this a major deal/money problem? or could it be something else? the transmission & motor seem fine...

thanks all
