I was taking a curve yesterday and all of a sudden my engine lights go on.I use a MAZDA 929, 1992 Edition.I have checked everything in the car and it looks fine.It usually goes on after driving for some minutes.I wonder what the problem is.I know I have to change my brake pads can it be the cause.

Your goin to need a computer hook up that will read what is wrong with your engine and tell you in a code. The code is then read by your mechanic, stating what is wrong with your car. Your check engine light could mean just about anything, but I doubt it has anything to do with the brake pads.

Hope this helps,
