i was wondering if anyone could tell me how to reset the check engine light on a 92 B2600i pick up? if anyone could help it would be greatly apreciated.

I have a 93 929. What I have to do is disconnect the negative battery cable, then press on the break pedal for apprx. 5 sec. reconnect the negative battery cable. They tell you you need to run the car at 2000 rpm's for 2 minutes, but I have found this is not required.
