firing order for a 1993 mazda protege

I need to find out the firing order for a 1993 mazda protege. its a 2.2liter DOHC..thanx

Are you sure this is a 2.2 liter DOHC engine? I used to own a 92 Protege LX and it had a 1.8 liter 125 HP DOHC engine. I was under impression that they continued with the 1.8 liter DOHC engine in 1993. For 1992 the firing order is 1-3-4-2. It should be the same for 93. Even the 1.6 liter SOHC engine in 92 Protege DX has the same firing order.

The only in line 4 cyl engine I've ever heard of that didn't fire 1342 was a 1960's Fath Urs motorcycle sidecar race engine (it had an odd 90 degree throw crank). I guess that yours wouldn't buck the trend.
