Thanks in advance...
I have an 87 B2200 pick'em-up truck, and i'm going to be real cold if i can't get this heater core out.
My truck has A/C, if this makes a difference.
The Haynes repair manual is laughably vauge.
ANY thoughts, ideas, websites, or snide remarks would
be most appreciated.
Again, Thank You

Just the core or the whole heater assembly?
The core is a snap once the assembly is out.

I posted instructions for this here within the last 6 weeks, I can try to find those at home. Anyway, it's a big job, as steering wheel, console, dashboard all have to come out. If you live in a relatively warm climate, you can install a bypass pipe in the engine compartment. If you really need heat, and the core is leaking, I'd first try some stopleak product because the labor to replace the core is so involved. I usually advocate fixing things right, but this is a lot of work.

Thanks for responding.
Yeah, i did the ol' by-pass already.
Did you find those old removal directions?
If not, thanks for looking. Have you used any "stop leak" - type stuff that works?
ANY ideas would be welcome.
