We have a dealer installed rear seat entertainment system with a video cassette player in a 2001 MPV. We talked to the dealer about replacing the VCP with a DVD player and they said it had to be completely re-wired and would cost about $2,000. The system is maufactured by Rosen Products. The wiring connected to the VCP consists of a din plug and a 12V power supply and there is a Rosen Products FM modulator under the dash. Does anyone know of a DVD replacement product that would work and why it would need to be re-wired.
