Hi!

The check engine light came on about a month ago. I got the computer 'read' and the message was about 'Lean combustion'. I got it reset. After some time, I noticed that the RPM at idle is very low and if the engine is warm and the car is at rest, the engine shakes and can stall also. My car has automatic transmission. The exhaust pipe lets out an uneven choked kind of sound when idling. I tried adding fuel injector cleaner but it did not help. It runs fine on the highway but has a very uneven, unsteady ride at low speeds or at 0 mph. I am not sure what the issue may be. Any ideas?

Check all vacuum lines associated with the PVC Valve for breaks, cracks, tares, or any loose vacuum lines. Some of these will be hard to get at. If they all look good check the MAF sensor for correct operation.
