i have a 97 mazda 626 and i got a pinoeer cd player but i dont have a manual to the car or for the cd player and have NO clue how to install it, if anyone can help PLEASE email me thank you soo much!! -- amanda

I too have a 1997 Mazda 626. I'm trying to install my new sony deck in my center con. But i can't figure out how to remove the factory radio. I bought the car used and i never got an owners manual.

I would also like information on installing the deck.

Not a hundred percent sure, but are there small trims up both vertical edges of the stereo (at the ends)? If so, these trims need to come off. There are two holes behind them that you have to insert a removal tool into, to pull the stereo out. The tool has hooks on the end. It releases the clips for the stereo, as well as hooking into the clips so that the stereo can be removed. You'll drop dead if you ask the dealer how much they are. If you get the opportunity to see what the release tools look like, you can fashion home-made ones out of welding rod or similar. Good luck with it!
