99 Protege Headlight Bulb Replacement

I am trying to replace my Mazda 99 Protege Headlamp.
I took off the wireing harness and pulled out the rubber cover on the back. It looks like the lamp is held in by a couple of metal springs. How do I get the lamp out?
Do I need to remove anything else.

Thanks
Rick.

Hope I can help! You have to push the metal spring inward, as though you were pushing it in toward the front of the lamp (toward you.) Then push down slightly at the same time. You have to push on the small loop at the end of the metal spring, located below the bulb and slightly to on side (left on the vehicle). It will release off of a metal hook. Make sure you put the bulb back in the way you see the old one come out. Let me know how you make out!
