when i start the engine
the rpm is up to 2500 rpm and white smoke comes out
the exoust
after 5 minutes the rpm go down to about 700
and the smoke slowly desapear
is it that i need a oil change
by the way my oil pan is leaking a little bit not
enough to make a spot on the ground but
it smell like shit when the oil burn on the engine
i am woundering for the white smoke
any idea

i think it must be the cover valve gasket

I’m no expert but I think white smoke could be caused by antifreeze or coolant leaking into the combustion chamber black smoke is usually caused by oil leak in the cylinders heads. Check your oil to see if it’s the right color. By the way it’s normal to have white smoke coming out of the exhaust during the start up especially in the winter, fall and early spring this is caused by condensation steaming off.
