My 1999 Mazda Millenia S is ruuning rough sometimes, which cause the check engine light went on and flashing then stay on. At somepoints later, the check engine light went off automatically and the car seems running smoother. Does any one know what could be the root cause for that. Thanks

Could be that your EGR sensor is bad. Also, make sure your distributor, spark plugs and wires, and the whole fuel system is clean (including injectors). My bet is the EGR sensor, but keep the fuel system clean as the check engine light on Millenias are very sensitive.
