Clutch/ignition switch problem???

Hi, I have a 95 626 manual transmission. When I push the clutch in to start the car, sometimes it starts fine, other times I have to pump the clutch to get it to start. I replaced the clutch switch this weekend, it seemed to work for one day, but now it is doing the same thing. Do you think I should try the ignition switch next, or do you have any ideas what it may be? Thanks for your time.

It might be the ignition switch, but there are also other possibilties. How strongly does it crank, both when it's starting normally as well as when it won't start? What were the symptoms that required you to pump the clutch? Does the car have an anti-theft engine immobilizer?
