Various gadgets and snake oils have been sold since probably before you were born. Try one if you like, but if these things worked the auto makers would make them standard equipment -- unless you think they don't want you to get good gas mileage, that is.

Got one in my '99 Miata Sport. I feel the power increase and it helps some with the mileage. It provides a cleaner flow of air into the air flow meter/carburetor. Almost like a forced induction. Try it if you haven't yet, I think you'll like it. Paid $65 for mine.
