Hey everyone,
Check out my other post about lowering my truck, but right now i'm looking into buying a tachometer because my 91' b2200 doesn't have one. I'm going to be installing it myself and am looking for some advice on how to go about doing it, also what type should i buy? and should i seek professional help? Thanks

Aftermarket tach installation should be straightforward, on my VW bug one wire from the coil, one from 12 volt positive, a ground wire, and a lighting wire. My 1988 B2200 has no tach, only the LE models came with them. Apparently if you find a used instrument cluster from one of those, that's a relatively straightforward swap. You must move the speedometer cable to go around a support so it will reach new location a few inches away. Someone posted the swap on the internet with photos, I don't remember where, I must have it at home.
