MAZDA MX6 THERMOSTAT ISSUE

My 93 MX6 started to run hot yesterday. After about 45 minutes of driving the needles sits in the middle of the gauge and the see-saws back and forth. I am suspecting a sticky or gone bad thermostat. But where is the thermostat? I would appreciate any feedback about this matter. Thank you! :0)

On most cars, if you follow the upper radiator hose to the block, thats where you will find the thermostat (underneath the water neck). that may be the case with you as well (I am not familiar with your model) but be advised that on some model mazdas, the thermostat is actually between the LOWER radiator hose and the block. I have a 91 3.0L DOHC in my 929, and that is where my thermostat is. In fact I repalced it today. Its probably in one of these two places.
