1994 MX3 Rough Idle/Poor Start

We already removed the Catalitic Converter, it stopped the stalling problem, but it may be the EGR valve(Where is it located if you know?)or if you have any other suggestions please help?

WHAT ARE THE SPECS ON YOUR ENGINE. I HAVE A 92 MX3 4CYL SOHC 1.6L. I ALSO HAVE THE CHILTONS MANUAL WITH ALL THE DIAGRAMS FOR 323,PROBE,929, MX3&MX6

my specs are 1994 mx3 v6 1.8L sohc
