Millenia S - rough acceleration/no power when cold

I have a 1997 Millenia S. The car has no power in the mornings. It starts up and idles fine, but when I put it in gear and accelerate, I get the following symptoms:
1) lack of power
2) Some black smoke from exhaust
3) the sound of pulsating air from under the hood (sputuring)
Once the car gets warmed up, all symptoms are gone and it runs normal. It seems like the longer the car sits, the worse the problem is. Is the sputuring the waste gate from the supercharger? Any ideas?
