I have enjoyed my second millenia as much as my 98 Millenia, I enjoy driving and riding in it. My concerns are that at 33,000 the Lysholm Compressor went out, I had large amount of smoke out of exhaust when starting up and running, it was replaced under warranty, tires were replace at 32,000 at $160.00 a piece, I am wondering if it is going to last me without much repair work as I would like to keep the car, I bought it new and plan to keep it. I have noticed a lot of messages regarding the smoke from the older Millenias and the problems from the turbo supposedly. Any comments on any other current owners from 1999 to 2002.

The big thing with the millnia S Specially is that you have to baby the superchager.i.e oil changes at every 2000 milles and let your car warm up in the mornings and before you turn your car off SPECIALLY after hard, long or fwy driving above 65 just let it idle for about 30+.ive found this to not guarantee anything but i havnt had any problems with mine at 90k not to mention a good friend does the same thing on his 01 millenia S with 75k and his his just fine dispite the 25k a year.
