I have an '86 Mazda B2000. The antenna is broken, but I cant remove it. I have unsrewed the nut at the base, but it won't budge. Does anyone have any idea how I can remove it?

Try pushing it down rather than pulling it up.

You have to open up the entire motor assembly by removing the whole piece from the trunk then put it back together and feed the new antenna through by turning the radio on and off
