A friend and I have a 1986 rx7 and when it sits a while we can get the car to run for about 30 seconds with a small amount of throttle response. It then dies and we restart it and it runs for less time...and soo on until it wont start again. We replaced...fuel filter, cleaned tank, spark plugs, and fuel pump works.

this 87 will only start with eather (iknow its 2 dry for the car but its a last resort) ok the leading ignitor was bad so i changed it, it had no fuel so i swapted tanks with a working fuel(fuel pump blots are so bad i dont think i want change the fuel pump but it dose pump i can hear it and i can barly hold my thumb on the fuel line) so now i have spark/gas/comprestion but it just stubles all most start but it just dose not i replged teh ground on the fire wall, the mas air flow meater (fuel cut off) and all oter parts of this mas air flow is all with in specs the fuel enjoctors are with in specs whats next?

There are a bunch of RX-7 clubs on the internet. You might get a quicker response to your if you did a Google search and posted your question on one of their bulletin boards.
