I have a 1997 Millenia S. The car lacks power after is sits for more then 12 hours. The are no engine codes registered. It starts up and idles fine, but when I put it in gear and accelerate, I get the following symptoms:
1) lack of power
2) Some black smoke from exhaust
3) the sound of pulsating air from under the hood (sputuring)
Once the car gets warmed up, all symptoms are gone and it runs normal. It seems like the longer the car sits, the worse the problem is. Any ideas?
