hi, frist let me say u r doing a great job helping people. When i start my car (89 mazda 626) it ok , but when i put it in drive it shuts off. please can u give me some help. thank u..

my idle is normal in park when i shift it in to drive it shut off.

A shut-off like the electricals abruptly quit, or more like fuel starvation? Did you try going from neutral to anything other than drive? Is there any engine missing or surging as you increase the revs in neutral? (don't redline it) If so, at what RPMs? How well was the car running before the trouble started? Did this trouble start without warning, or did you notice anything unusual in advance? How well-maintained is the car? How many miles do you have on it?
