My engine light came on and gave me a code 16. I checked 4 times. In all documentation, this is EGR sensor position for a 1993 MX-3 GS (6cyl). This code is for California vehicles only, which mine is not. I live in Canada!! Anyway, it's idling rough and hard to start. I just checked the air intake system and filter. Did the plugs etc.. Any idea why the computer is reporting a code that does not apply to my vehicle?
