96 Protege DX engine trouble. Runs poorly after car wash. help?!?!?!?

My 1996 Protege DX Just got washed by myself. It wil run, but the engine idles very lowly and it sounds as if the air filter is wet. I checked, and the filter and intake are fine! Please email me with any helpful ideas.

Dry out everything associated with the ignition/high voltage circuits. Also make sure the plug wells are dry. Don't try restarting the car until you've done this.
