Hi all,
I have a 626, year 2000. A couple of months ago, my power door locks on the driver side started making noise to make noise when I lock the door. It sounded like a motor turning real fast and some gears slipping. I was gonna have the dealer fix it for me, but it costs $85 just for them to take a look at it. So I opened it up myself. I took out the actuator and opened it up and found that the nylon gear that mates to the motor shaft gear has been stripped pretty good. Does anybody know where I can get just this gear? I have tried hobby shops, dealers, etc... no luck. The dealer would only sell me the complete actuator module for a pretty expensive price... you probably don't wanna know. You input would be greatly appreciated.
