whats up new to the site just bought an 86 b2000 that doesnt really want to start to start it i have to hold the gas pedal to the floor then it will stumble into starting and must keep foot on the gas pedal to keep it running take foot off the pedal and it dies immediately when it is running it backfires through the carb

the guy i bought from had torn into it a few times and thinks he got the vacuum lines on wrong so now im trying to fix what he screwed up

if anyone can help me with these problems or has vacuum diagrams for this truck it would be appreciated

i do know the routing of the lines but i dont have a diagram to send you i would suggest you look in to a haynes hand book on that modle. it will show a step by step procedure. yes it will cost you 17$ for the book but in the end it will be worth it. good luck
