Miss-fire on an MX3August 15 2005 at 8:47 AM No score for this post | Anonymous |
| Hi
I have a '92 MX3 and its developed a missfire. it somethimes has a rough idol but not always however teh missfire becomes most obvious at 2000 rpm, this happens in every gear but only generally if the car is driven at a constant 2000 rpm (40-50 mph in 5th). Has any one come across this, got an idea what is causing it? and possible ways of mending the problem.
Thanks for your help |

Check to make sure the EGR valve is operating properly and not leaking. |

Start with plugs and wires, cap rotor, etc. then move up to egr, mas sensors etc. | |
