My 1993 mazda protoge' will start and run for few seconds and then it will die, when I try to restart it will run for a few seconds and die again any ideas on what would cause this?

I HAVE BEEN HAVING A PROBLEM WITH MY 94 MAZDA PROTEGE AND FOUND OUT IT WAS MY MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR, SO I WENT AND GOT A USED ONE AND REPLACED IT BUT NOW IT WILL START AND RUN BUT AS SOON AS I PUSH THE ACCELERATOR IT DIES...HELP
