'91 B2600i 2WD lower control arm bushing removal. These are pressed into the frame, what is the secret to driving these out? I have sledge hammered and chiseled to no avail. Please help.

They gotta come out the same way they were put in -- by pressing. Among others, NAPA can do it for you. Trying to brute force them will screw up the control arms.

thanks for the reply, the bushing is pressed into the truck's frame by the crossmember bracket, not the control arm itself, thus the problem, otherwise I'd burn it out. I'm going to try and jerry-rig a puller with a large bolt thru a short section of pipe with a large washer on the end to theoretically push it into the section of pipe while tightening the bolt/nut. I'm sure Mazda has some special 'J' tool to handle it at the dealer. Problem is, I've got it jacked up on a concrete block out back and am too cheap to pay somebody to do it anyway, hehe.

On a second note, does anybody know what size metric grease zerks screw into the metal upper control arm bushings on this rice burner. I assume I just measure the threaded hole in milimeters?

I did screw in grease fittings but I can't remember whether they were 6 mm or 8 mm; I'd unscrew one of the plugs and match it up. Use 90 degree fittings, that's what a Mazda mechanic told me, so you can get a grease gun fitting over it. These were readily available at the chain parts store, not expensive. My B2200 front end squeaked before I did this.
