my gt has 98k on the clock and usually runs fine apart from once in a while when it occassionaly spurts when changing gear and then kicks in. Also it fails to start about once a day. Could this be the oxygen sensor as i've been told that's not working by the mechanic who can find no other fault with the car at all, even after putting the computer diag on it.

Can someone help please with any theories as i've put it into 2 garages now and other mechanics had no clue what the problem is.
