Looking for any information on what could be allowing antifreeze to leak heavily from the back of the motor.

The engine has a number of "freeze" plugs that resemble large diameter washers. They're used to seal openings in the engine block that exist because of the casting process, but they will also pop out if the coolant freezes in the block, hence the name "freeze" plug.
One of these is likely leaking.
